Tuesday, August 15 – New Student Orientation

6th Grade Scholars from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. NEW TIME – Parent and Guardians will join us at 9 a.m. in the Cafeteria for an hour and be asked to return between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. for Fact and Fee processing. Scholars will be asked to be in the cafeteria at 9 a.m. in their school uniforms.

New Scholars in 7th – 12th Grades from 2 to 4 p.m. on August 15th – Parent and Guardians will be expected to come with their scholars for the whole time with a presentation starting at 2:15 p.m. in the Auditorium and Fact and Fee to follow. Scholars will be asked to be in their school uniforms.


Thursday, August 17th:

First day of school – doors open at 7:45 a.m., first bell is at 8:00 a.m., and dismissal is at 3:08 p.m.


No School on Monday, August 21st




Student Fees for Classroom Materials, PTO, and STEMester: $100 (reduced for Free and reduced lunch and no fee for free lunch students).

  • Parking Spot Fee for Scholar Drivers: $25
  • PE Uniforms: $20 for one uniform or $35 for 2 uniforms
  • Locker Fee: $5 (There will be a locker lottery and a waiting list create – please fill out this form by August 11th.)
  • Senior Activity Fee: $25
  • Afternoon Academy: $25 Registration and One Week Deposit of $50. ($50 per week or $15 per day during the year starting on August 21.

We will accept credit cards, checks, and cash this year.

On Fact and Fee Day on August 14th or 15th please bring your classroom supplies:

  • (1)  Jumbo-size hand sanitizer
  • (1)  Box tissue
  • (1)  Container disinfectant wipes
  • (1)  Pack of dry erase markers

We can always use extra donations of school supplies – please drop them off in the office.

Volunteer at CCSMS Riptide Pride WorkdaysJoin other parents, students, and volunteers to paint, help with the front office, greet families, launch technology, and knock out some other projects on campus.




The 2017-18 Fall Sports season will begin on Monday – July 31, 2017.  All hopeful participants MUST have an updated Physical and Permission to Play form completed and on file with Athletic Department.  These forms as well as the fall Team Schedule can be found on the Riptide Athletic website (

  • Varsity Football (open to all 9 -12 graders), this will take place at St. Andrews stadium (Wappoo Road) from 4- 6:00pm any question contact Coach David Brunner (

  • Cross Country (open to ALL 7-12 graders), runners will meet at our very own on campus gym; time will be announced in next few days. Coaching staff is still working on details.

Sertoma Football Classic

Our Riptide Football Team is playing in the Sertoma Football Classic on August 11th at 5pm against Burke. Ticket sales info will be coming.  Check our school out in the video. Please come support the team.
