Afternoon Academy

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Thank you for your interest in having your scholar join us in Afternoon Academy. The intent of this program is to create an after school opportunity to support continued academic scholar success. Your scholar will use the time designated to work on homework, class assignments, test prep and other academic pursuits.

During Afternoon Academy, scholars are not permitted to leave the campus for any reason unless they are being picked up by a documented parent/guardian, are riding the afternoon activities bus, or are a documented walker. They are to report to Afternoon Academy directly after school.  If they have an activity or club to attend in addition to being in Afternoon Academy after that activity ends, they are to check in with Afternoon Academy first, so we know they are planning to be with us. 

Please pick up your scholar at the Auditorium Lobby doors. Park on King Street and you will sign them out at the doors to the right of the flagpole. 

The cost is $15/day. You will have the option to pay for multiple days or weeks at a time. Afternoon Academy will operate from 3:10pm and ends at 5:45pm, Monday-Friday with the exception of early release days (we will not have Afternoon Academy).  Scholars must be picked up at or before 5:45pm.  A late fee will be assessed at $1 a minute after 5:45pm for scholars still waiting after 5:45 pm for pick up.

A payment form will be sent after you sign up. All payments will be due on or before the day your scholar attends the program. Payments can be made through Operoo or the front office.
