Back to School Resource

The SC Department of Education is reminding students, parents and community members of a free student resource this school year. 
 
Free online tutoring will again be available through a partnership between the SCDE and the South Carolina State Library. Funded by Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER) funds provided to the state of South Carolina, this resource is available for families 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

CCSMS Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the governing board for the Charleston Charter School for Math and Science and govern in accordance with the Charter School Act of 1996 focus is student achievement, to ensure compliance, and sound fiscal management. Board seats are staggered and carry a term of two years.

F3 - Family, Faculty, and Friends Parent Teacher Organization

F3 is our CCSMS Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is similar to a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) or Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA). It is a formal organization that consists of parents, guardians, teachers, community members, and school staff. F3 brings together volunteer opportunities, teacher appreciation activities, scholar activity support, athletic booster, and band booster.

 Visits at School:

  • Your child can be examined, diagnosed and treated by healthcare providers while at school
  • Students are evaluated in the school nurse’s office
  • Schedule appointments through the school nurse

 Visits at Home:

  • To schedule a virtual visit when school is in session, call 843-792-0355 between 8am-4pm

 Other information:

  • Medicaid covers the cost of the visits
  • Private insurance coverage varies, copays and deductibles apply
